After four years of dedicated service, Gordon Rixon, S.J., and Michael Vertin stepped down this summer as Director and Associate Director of the LRI. Both remain actively involved in the life of the LRI as Research Scholars and members of the Board. To the warm gratitude of the LRI Board, let me add my particular thanks, as incoming Director, for their excellent stewardship and ongoing sup- port and good counsel. When not sub- poenaed to the aid of the new Director, Fr Rixon happily continues his day job as Dean of Regis College and Prof. Vertin his teaching and research at St Michael’s College in the University of Toronto.
