UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA, VANCOUVER – EDUCATION AND FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

A week-long conference “Education and Functional Collaboration” is scheduled for Vancouver, at the University of British Columbia, Monday July 5th – Friday July 9th, 2010. The topic is “Education and Functional Collaboration”. There will be a single 2-hour workshop each morning, conducted by Philip McShane. The topics of the five Workshops are: (1) 10,000 villages, 1 billion gardens; (2) Research and Communications; (3) Interpretation and History; (4) Dialectic and Foundations; (5) Doctrines and Systematics. Papers on the topic are invited, and discussions of them will occupy the rest of the days. The papers are to be electronically pre-submitted to Bob Henman at [email protected] by June 1st, and circulated among participants, so that reading of them at the conference will be unnecessary.

Lecture Hall: Mary Murrin Lounge in Gage Tower with sessions each day from 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 4 pm. No session in the Lounge on Wednesday, July 7th from 2 to 4 pm. A Panel Session will be held Wednesday Evening from 7 to 9 pm. Other meeting times and places will be announced during normal conference sessions.
