MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY, MILWAUKEE – 2010 LONERGAN ON THE EDGE CONFERENCE
The Lonergan Society at Marquette University will once again be hosting the Lonergan on the Edge graduate student conference. There will be no specific theme other than the general interest in Lonergan studies, and papers of any topic related to that interest will be considered. However, there will be a panel discussion on “Lonergan and the Intersection between Philosophy and Theology,” and papers relating to that topic are especially encouraged. The conference will take place September 17th – 19th, 2010, on the campus of Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Paper presentations will be a total of 30 minutes: 20 minutes for the paper, and 10 minutes for discussion. Proposals should be prepared for blind review (i.e. no names on the paper itself, just the title) and submitted in the form of a 1-page, double-spaced abstract of the project. Email to [email protected] no later than 5pm, Monday, July 5, 2010. Submission results will be announced by July 19, 2010.
