The LRI is pleased to announce the 2014 Frederick E. Crowe Bursary in the amount of $1500.
This annual bursary has been established by the Lonergan Research Institute at Regis College in honor of Frederick E. Crowe, S.J. Father Crowe’s lifetime of loving labor on and for the ideas of Bernard Lonergan includes his establishment of the Toronto Lonergan Centre, the precursor of the Lonergan Research Institute, in 1971. If you would like to make a gift to this program in honor of Fr Crowe, more information is available here.
The purpose of the bursary is to encourage Lonergan studies on the part of younger scholars. The bursary will be awarded to the proposal that best promises to advance Lonergan studies.
Full consideration will be given to applications received by December 15, 2014. For more information on eligibility and how to apply, please see our Crowe Bursary page.
